    They're more likely to get hold of you on your mobile than a home phone (in most cases). It saves them time having to keep calling a home number to see if someone's in and/or leaving messages. I think the reason is as simple as that. If you're cynical you may say it's because they want to send you marketing texts but I'm pretty sure NOTW don't do this. I've never had one.

    No, I might have been cynical with some other companies, just never seen that written for a comp before, thought it might be so they could text or something if they couldn't get hold of you :) I always give a mobile number anyway cause I can easily change sim but have to pay for a new house number :D
