6. Competitions
So
The question is .........
Terry has worn one since 1992, where can you find them now? A clue: well, it will be in view when he autographs his books.
Answer:
The prize: one for yourself, in argent of course.
The first correct answer to my dear friend Mr A, gets the thing, and a jolly nice thing it is.

Doesn't argent mean silver?
Does he wear any silver jewellery, or maybe have a silver pen for signing his books?
** Update - found this: http://www.ie.lspace.org/fandom/afp/timelines/holy-anorankh.html
Apparently he wears a small silver ANORAK (!) on a chain, although the thread also describes it as a Holy Anorankh....
That just sounds too bizarre

Apparantly he always wears a gold Death ring, which you'd see if he was signing an autograph. If this is the answer they want, you'd find the rings at discworldemporium.com0
-
I think it may be the ring as I found something about the Anorankh necklace but it says that happened in 1994.
When he was on about the Anorankh though he mentioned the same company making him a ring...but I can't find a date for that.Good Luck All

This quote from Discworld emp says this
"The DEATH ring was first created in silver for Bernard and Isobel by Chas Elliott in 1992, and this gold version has been specifically authorised by Terry Pratchett. "
So I go with a death ringBest wins

How do some of these manage without a subject header, when some of them are quite big publications or companies? I guess they know what they are doing...Al Mac Appreciation Society No. 188

With this one I'd say it's cause there's only one comp a month and the address is comp specific, dunno about others where there are loads of comps to the same email address. If there isn't a subject line, I make one up

Thanks catz. I make them up sometimes too.
