Ladies
I've had an idea  for this wedding I'm trying to help out with.
The bride to be has said she didn't really want favours as last time she was at a wedding most of them were left behind!
So I thought maybe something that could be useful, ie, a pen?
Look at these ones:

Now I know how creative you all are, has anyone got any ideas for decorating a pen in a similar fashion? Remember my bride to be is allergic to heathers if she touches them! LOLOL
I also thought of bookmarks??

How about lottey ticket scrolls... Im sure they wouldnt be left...
Roll up the tickets like a scroll and tie in ribbon to match the wedding colour scheme...
Also you could make mini enveloped to pop the tickets in???
Cost £1 each , probs best to buy luck dips if you are going to do this and small amount of pennies for the ribbon.0 -
Thanks for suggestion, Princesspoppypop but don't think she could afford to buy everyone the lottery tickets, she's on a really tight budget and I'm doing the decorations, favours, cards, etc as a present to her.
There could be a lot of people to buy lottery tickets for! lol

a fun cheap option are tubes of loveheart sweets-went down a treat at a wedding i went to !!even god cant change the past-no matter how many times i cryfor levi, leo, smudge and arfa:A my angels0

ditto on the love heart sweets or similar, but make your own personalised wrappers on a printer, with bride and groom's names on them?
I'm doing some chocolate bar wrappers at the moment for my DD's party bags.
Or do the small bars of chocolate with personalised wrappers.0 -
Have you tried ebay for mini love heart tubes?? They always look nice displayed in large wine glasses with some shredded foil paper.0

I honstly think the pen ideas would end up costing more than £1 each to make by the time you have bought the bits and pieces...
What kind of budget per wedding favour are we talking? You say a tight budget but is this 25p, 50p?
Personally I'd go with the small chocolate bars... Printing the sleeves for them will be a doddleDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!

Cheap bars of chocolate from ASDA (the 50p ones taste just as good as the expensive ones) little silicone molds and a wrapper is all you need to make hundreds and hundreds of little favours for next to nothing other than an afternoons hard work. Just melt the chocolate, pour into the molds, cool in the fridge, pop out and wrap!
Little packets of seeds such as forget-me-nots in individual seed pockets (or even decorated tiny wage packets) with a pretty label on the front.
If you search for wedding crafts on Google there's hundreds of ideas... I know because I've been doing it while planning my wedding0 -
Good ideas, girls.
But if I were to make the chololates in the moulds myself, I'd need to make hundreds, wouldn't I?
There might be about 200 people there! lol
I'm not sure about how tight her budget is but do not it is a fairly tight one. I see your point about the pen though.
Still thinking! lol

For my daughters wedding I had a friend make truffles, white and plain choc. We then put a name stuck on to a cocktail stick like a flag. These were then put in the truffles and they were put at each place setting as a place marker and favor all in one.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

If you are making individual favours for each guest, and there are going to be around 200 people then it is going to cost quite a bit whatever you do....0
