Entry to the competition is available to any person aged 16 or over. To enter you must find the mystery word at the Fosse Shopping Park, once you’ve found the mystery word you will need to then work out what the word is as it will be missing some letters. When you have worked out what you believe the word to be you can enter the competition by either sending the word plus your name as a text message to 65588, eg. ‘WORD Joe Bloggs’, texts will cost 25p plus your standard network rate. Alternatively you can enter for free at www.smoothradio.com
The competition is open from Monday 1st December 2008 at 07:00 until Thursday 18th December 2008 at 23:59. During this period the competition will be split into 5 equal game play periods, depending on the time you enter you will be entered into, if your answer is correct, one of the 5 draws. The 5 game play periods are as follows:
1st Dec 07:00 - 4th Dec 19:59 (to be announced Mon 15th December 2008)
4th Dec 20:00 - 8th Dec 08:59 (to be announced Tue 16th December 2008)
8th Dec 09:00 - 11th Dec 21:59 (to be announced Wed 17th December 2008)
11th Dec 22:00 - 15th Dec 10:59 (to be announced Thu 18th December 2008)
15th Dec 11:00 - 18th Dec 23:59 (to be announced Fri 19th December 2008)
5 winners will be selected in total, one per game play period. These draws will be made once each game play period has finished at random from all the correct entries. The winner will be announced on Smooth Radio during the breakfast show on the corresponding announcement date as above.
The mystery word will remain the same throughout the competition so entrants are invited to enter each of the game play periods if they wish and may make as many entries for each game play period as wished. Entries can be made via either text or online or a combination of both.
The mystery word must be spelt correctly, as determined from the English Dictionary for any entry to be valid and added to the draw.
