When people say they are doing something "flylady" style, what do they mean? Is it in honour of someone on this board? I'm in the middle of a spring clean and need some tips!!

Have a look at www.flylady.net. That is who she is.
Good luck with the clean up!
Never mind. Too slow!:wall:0 -

Wow, your reaction is better than mine. I read through some of the stuff on the site and promptly crawled under my duvet. Sounded too much like hard work! (I'm going to get banned from OS for saying that)
I did make a HUGE 'things-to-do' list though. I might frame it.:wall:0 -
I love cleaning, i find it very therapeutic, and from moving house regularly and living in a tiny flat I often declutter. But I am not habitually tidy and i always leave plates in the sink overnight, so i'm quite inspired about getting into a routine. It is easier when you are only cleaning for one thoughDebt Oct 2005: £32,692.94

If you even need to de-stress..., you're quite welcome over 'ere!!
I haven't moved for years, and since finding a love for Ebay and carboots.... well, everything has an imaginary value!
Aah, I would love a routine. I had one last year, but lost it.
And the dog never tidies up after herself :wall:0 -
Well last night I tried to shine my sink! It is looking lovely this morning but I wasn't sure what products to use because I can convert from the American, In the end I did the bleach soak but then just rinsed and wiped the sink over and dried off with a tea towel. What is the UK equivalent to Comet?? Cif?Debt Oct 2005: £32,692.94

hee hee hee. Well, there's always next August...
I'm guessing you can use anything you like to shine your sink.:wall:0 -
Dont take flylady to the letter its american and can drive you nuts but do join the regional UK sites there are links on flylady somewhere. You can then chat to likeminded people in the same position as yourself and they are all so supportive. Its amazing if you do just a little of what she suggests you can really make a difference to your life.
