Culture is a red herring - there are only four passwords and Richie guessed wrong. Just booked Paris for the three of us 10-13 April for £92!! If you have trouble with the website ring the nice ladies on 08701 610110 who searched around for me, well worth the extra fiver.
Merci bien0 -
Richie didn't guess wrong!
I have the booking - dated yesterday - to prove it.
makes you wonder why you bother with people like this about.0 -
Just booked mine. However, one of the party is what Eurostar call a "Youth" !!
Nothing at all was available with a "Youth" in the party. Very depressing and time consuming stuff.
I then "aged" the Youth into a so-called Adult (if only...) and more space was suddenly available.
Not sure if the same is true of "Children" but worth a try if you are getting nowhere.
Now to find some decent priced parking in Ashford!!0 -
The night before tickets went on sale for the Telegraph's two for one offer I checked the price for a return trip from London to Brussels on the 5-7, 12-14 and 19-21 May. All dates showed that the fare for two adults was 118 GBP if we took the 18:11 train out and returned on the 20:25. The next day I tried to get tickets under the Telegraph promotion but of course the fares were not available. OK fair enough I thought back to the standard fares. To my shock these had now risen to 138, 158 and 178 GBP respectively. Sucker I am for wasting money on four crap papers but a lesson for next time when I will buy at normal price before the phoney promotion begins or guess the password the night before. Be careful if you find tickets are not available. Whole promotion looks like a big attempt to sucker people into booking at higher prices.

Stefr, I found that I couldn't get the correct prices and booked in the end for £118. As soon as I got home, I did however call Eurostar customer services and they did still have promotional prices on their computers. Eurostar did have problems yesterday uploading the correct prices. The people at Eurostar where friendly enough to refund my non-refundable ticket and book the still available promotional rate which still saved me £40. To me, it did sound as if they had a genuine problem, but I would say, I did have the same initial reaction as you! I know that I will just call them next time and not bother trying to book over the internet!0

Thank you for this. Just booked a return one night trip for two to Paris in May half term for £58. Never been to Paris so can't wait...0

Yay me and my bf are going to Paris- despite being youths! It would be SO much easier if we lived in London. You have to leave soo much leeway for connections!0

thankyou to all for the passwords. Just booked a day trip with OH for the end of April for £59.
There is still some availabilty beginning of June/end of April for anyone wanting a daytrip at least.0 -
