Not exactly a win but...

it has been on my wishlist for ages! (wishlist) And really I didn't think it ever likely that I could actually win one...

So I've ordered an Eglu and 3 hens, and they'll be here on the 17th March, I can't wait!

Did you have to get any permission from the council to have them in the garden? We'd love to get some but not sure whether we're allowed.

No, to be honest we haven't looked into it, people seem to have what animals they like around here, and with neighbours having dogs/rabbits/cats I'm just assuming we're ok.. I do keep meaning to find the deeds of the house though just in case.

Maybe we'll have a look on the deeds then and see what it says. The problem we would have is that there are fields at the top of our road and so chickens would attract more rats and mice than there are already. Not sure what the neighbours would say either!

I'm letting my girls name them, they've got one each. Faves at the mo include Pippa, Biscuit and Hatty :-)
