A Very Unofficial Edinburgh Meet will be held on Sunday 30th January 2005.

This will be a casual drop in type meet from lunchtime, hopefully for most of the afternoon, in a family type pub so family and friends will be very welcome.

I have been in touch with several MSE users who I know are in the localish area and so far have had a great response so if you feel able to come along please pm me for further details.

Unfortunately its too far for Martin to pop in but he hopes we have a great time ;D

    Aliasojo, I might even splash out and phone you so you can talk to everyone which I had to do when they met in Dudley!

    Trying to get into my pm's tonight Tam but the site is so slow its saying no data! Hopefully I can pm you and Davesmum the details tomorrow and can I just say we are not all as young as we might seem ;D ;D ;D

    Thank you for the offer to meet up - would have loved to join you all but I'm in London that weekend and don't arrive back til 11pm. Hopefully the next meeting I will be able to attend.

    My last post to this thread was lost in the shuffle but just to say please pm me if you are interested in coming along on Sunday as you will be most welcome.

    Pink Winged is flying in from Northern Ireland just to meet you, so lets show her a good Scottish welcome:D

    For anyone still thinking about it, don't worry we don't bite. Why not pop in and if you like the look of us you might like to stay, if not you can disappear without letting on you were ever there!

    If anyone doesn't want to come on their own, pm me and I will organise that someone meets you. I hope to get a pm out to everyone tonight just to confirm the details but it might be tomorrow now.

    Well now edinburglass, what's all this about a gathering of moneysavers in your home town (city) all about ?. I'd love to be there but alass. I can't imagine how I'd react seeing people whose faces may well be nothing like I imagine. As for your good self, I picture you as being very tall and slim/thin wearing your hair in a bun. See? all wrong.

    I've been SPENDING money not saving it, just agreed to buy a second hand caravan/mobile home on a holiday park with, in our case, great views of lake/willow trees/wildlife etc.

    I've notified the techie people that I'm having to scroll left and right in order to read these messages, has anyone else mentioned it I wonder.

    Gonna turn in now, real sleepy. night night hen !

    I have no idea who he is either Island_man, but I'm sure he is a very nice bloke! ;)

    However, if you want to get rid of him, go to user cp (the first beige coloured line at the top of the page) then to edit signature (in the control panel on the left hand side) and delete him.

    Sorry you won't be there this weekend. I'm quite looking forward to seeing how wrongly I've imagined how people look.
