There are some suggestions in the helpful hints sticky thread but I haven't updated it recently and many have gone to the wall.
The only real other auction site out there is ebid but that has very little traffic and makes very little inroads into ebay .
For books Cds and DVds though there is more choice. Try Amazon, Play trade or Greenmotropolis. There should be threads for all of them on here and one for ebid as well.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. If you post what problems you have had we may be able to suggest a way of getting reinstated so you can go back to ebay/paypal. Otherwise if it is not media items that you sell your only choice will be a stand alone website and/or ebid.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Normall both Paypal and ebay suspend accounts because people havent follwed there procedures (there a bit like Italy in that way). So there is frequently a way to unfreeze accounts. There are lost of people here with years of experience who may be able to help you,0

I don't know if this is of any use to you. AuctionLotWatch.co.uk is a shopbot for online auctions. Search for an item and it trawls the four big auction sites for you.0

Out of interest which 4 big auction sites ?
The only big one is ebay, I couldn't name another 3 at all.
EDIT: Do'h should have looked myself. The other three 'big' auctions are ebid (no traffic) Tazbar (closed for good June 2009) and CQOut..which has some very strange and worrying seller terms and conditions.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Soolin, you recommended me to send my Id, I did twice.
no answer, I emailed them no answer, and also to Paypal, my Paypal account is ok.. Paypal answer me, and said I breached ebay policies, i do no know wich.
But my question is how i can back to ebay, I need one account, I make some research, and what happens to me is normal for ebay,
Somebody seeling account already with feedback, but very expensive, and I do no know if is right.
Please can you help me?0 -
I wouldn't buy an eBay account off somebody. That's pretty dodgy.0

No one can legitimately sell you an ebay account so don't go down that route.
Go look in all your spam folders, see if there are any emails at all that you might have missed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I prefer using Gumtree which isn't actually an auction site.
However, you don't have to pay any fees or charges. It's easy to list and you don't have to put up with the same red tape you get on some auction sites. You have less protection of course.
