retrieving unsaved word documents

Is there any easy way to retrieve an unsaved Word Document ( version Microsoft Word 2000 ) - I inadvertently pressed no when prompted to save the changes to a document I'd been working on for hours:mad: I expect the answer is going to be that it's lost forever and I've only myself to blame but if anyone knows any way to get it all back I'd be really grateful. Thanks!

I was thinking maybe it could have been in a system restore but I think you need to have saved it. I don't know wether you can now if it was not saved. If someone sent it you then ask for it again...other than that...to my knowledge...I do not think it is possible. Sorry :S
if i had known then what i know now

There might be AutoRecover versions of the document lying around - see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/211762. However I'm not sure if clicking No to the Save changes prompt would have deleted these files.

You can find the location of AutoRecover files by clicking Tools - Options - File Locations and looking at
    the line for AutoRecover files.

I have done this a couple of times and never been able to recover my work, it would appear that unsaved really means what it says.
I will be keeping an eye on this thread for future reference in case someone comes up with the answer.
    Good luck
