... thanks Robin00, just rang them up they are now offering $1.59650

good deal. mine is only just over 1.5 for early feb.Remember the time he ate my goldfish? And you lied and said I never had goldfish. Then why did I have the bowl Bart? Why did I have the bowl?0

Mid-market rate is 1.5319, if you are buying "forward" (not paying all the money up front) you will get about 1.52. If you are paying the whole amount now and collecting in Feb you will get above 1.53 but lose the interest... swings and roundabouts! No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30

I have used them in the past with no probs. The only thing thats putting me off using them again is the fact that they have changed their Ts and Cs recently and the cancellation clauses are far more strict. You used to be able to cancel your order (which may be handy if your circumstances change between now and your holiday) for a £50 cancellation fee.
Now they don't allow cancellations except in exceptional circumstances, which they decide. You may be left with a whole load of currency that you have to change back to pounds, losing a lot more than £50 as a result.
Apart from that though, they are a good company in my experience0 -
they came through fine for me this month I had 1.64 for an order placed beginning of November and delivered 2nd December0

Sometimes it's the other way around when it comes to changing money.
I am shocked. Shocked that most of the currencies list have been obsolete for a few years since they were replaced with the euro. Wonder how old that list is?0 -
why would anyone have a load of francs anyway.0

Worked a treat for me back in Sept. I got through 2 dollars to the pound. Just wish I would have purchased more now!0
