In the back of my freezer I'm sure I've got some stranded cartons of cream, I think they're either double or whipped cream. Anyone got any suggestions what to do with them?? We've got an icecream maker, but since this is already frozen doubt it could be used in that....

Add some to the custard or to a rice pudding ar a bread and butter pudding. Use it in coffee. Whip it into angel delight-wherever milk is needed-add some cream also.Annual Grocery budget 2018 is £1500 pa £125 calendar month £28.84 pw for 3 adults0

If it's double cream, you can defrost it and make your own butter (if you have children, they will have fun doing the shaking! If you have two or more children and their arms get "tired" from shaking ... let them roll the jar to one another until the "butter" appears).~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

You could make a fool, if it's double cream. Just add some sugar and fruit of your choice and whip up

Put it in a pan with some smoked salmon trimmings and chopped dill. Heat until it's hot but don't boil (get a very gentle simmer then remove from the heat straight away). Let it stand for a few mins until the salmon turns opaque and pour over hot pasta, add black pepper, serve with crusty buttered bread :drool:Just run, run and keep on running!0

Stir it into mashed potatoes instead of milk - yum yum :rudolf:
Warm mincepies in the oven and serve with the defrosted cream - much nicer than just cold pies.
HTHI'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle0 -
