Hi guys
Am looking for a holiday park in or around Newquay area for my (f29) and my foster daughter (18) and her older sister who will be (21) in end of May/ June time.
Any recommendations or places to avoid?
Thanks

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.

For that age group, they should try:
- Trevelgue. Bit far out but buses run until 3am from town in season. Popular with the younger set and they have some special events (like the VW and Mini Rallies, Run to the Sun, etc) http://www.trevelgue.co.uk
- Sunnyside has closed down now at Quintrell Downs, but they've opened a Surf Lodge type of place right in town. http://www.sunnyside.co.uk/
- Rosecliston. Bit far out again, buses are rubbish. A lad died walking back there one night as the roads have no pavements, no edges and no lights. http://www.rosecliston.co.uk/main_menu.asp
As a rule there aren't any holiday parks IN Newquay, they are all on the outskirts, up to 2-3 miles from the town.
Get them to check the postcode of anywhere they are looking at using an online map http://maps.google.co.uk because many places call themselves Newquay but are in fact further inland than you think and there are no buses. As a rule of thumb, the place NEEDS to start with TR7 only.
Because of the location of the holiday parks, with most of them being family-based, it might be just as well for them to look at surf lodges or renting a flat in town. There are hundreds of these. If they go down this route, they might wish to avoid Pentire as it's a half mile of "nothing" before you get to the town and it's uphill! Bit of a trek to "pop back" often.
This is the ONLY park IN Newquay, but not sure how they'd be about being a single sex party and with the younger ones http://www.newquayholidayparks.net/0
