Hi all, we've just booked for Easter 2011 at Center Parcs, it seems they have the wrong date in the brochures for easter that year. They have the increased brochure prices ( which really annoy me  they are approx £600 dearer) as weekend around 15th-18th April when Easter that year will be the weekend later 22-25th April.

Take advantage before they realise! They have some good offers, around £400 for an EDIT mid-week stay. :T

Happy moneysaving all.

Which park did you choose..Cumbria appears to be expensive. Just going to check Sherwood Forest!
ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷

We chose Elvedon, we always go there though

oops bushcaro the £400 is the midweek stay sorry, but a week is still starting £542 (that is a 3 bed villa for 6 people - though you can get smaller) for that week..

    Happy moneysaving all.
  • the easter holidays next year are different in different parts of the country some of the schools are not finishing until the thursday before good friday and other areas are finishing the week before and going back straight after easter monday so this may be why.

I have just pulled of a school planner for 2011. My nephew has two weeks off from the 11th april and back to school on the 26th, just after bank holiday monday. Shame the w/c 25th is only about £339.

Just out of interest we have been going here for the past 15 years for short breaks

Initial price is higher but when you consider as much quality food to eat as you can shake a stick at and all activities are FREE or at cost (eg pottery; making 3 items from scratch through to finish, fire and glaze for £5)...basically any activity that has a consumable that you take home involved is charged at cost only. The most relaxed short break we have ever taken.
Fantastic value for money and special activities for the children...that said we are older now and go alone;)

    It says this
Please note prices and availability are subject to change
so if you pay a deposit and they realise the mistake can they ask you to pay more?
Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid doing altogether.:D

I have looked at these hotels before, and they seem ideal for an active family break with everything onsite. What made me hesitate was their disclaimer about the quality of the rooms. What are they like? is one hotel nicer than the other?

I'm very tempted but i cannot drive, i could pay the exra to be near the centre (Elvedon) but is there a supermarket, is a car essential and is it really expensive to hier bikes etc?
