ROAR - cat repellent
Options
I have heard that "essence" of lion is an extremely effective cat repellent.
I think it's called ROAR.
Does anyone know where I can get some? or have any other good tips for getting rid of next doors cats.
Have looked around a few garden places but not found any.

As a country dweller, i have heard that a shotgun is a good way of deterring cats ! Also a big dog!!
However, I could not condone this !!!!!!!!!:rotfl:1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42

You can get something called ZOO-Poo I think in garden centres. I would imagine it is expensive.
Our local zoo do not supply droppings1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42

It's called `Silent Roar' as avaiable from Robert Dyas and most garden centres. It's basicly dried lion poo in pellet form which you just sprinkle around with the plastic gloves supplied.0

I heard that a charity last year had 1 years supply to either raffle or auction off. Search around on the web - you may be lucky!0 -

On a more serious note !!
When we lived on a housing estate, it seemed like the neighbours cats all came into my garden to contaminate my borders and veg plot ` coz I didn`t have one. Very pleasant (NOT) for me and my kids. How can cat owners allow this to happen when you have to clear up after your pooch?
Under NO circumstances can I condone this but I heard of a bloke who used to take his neighbours cats for a ride off into the country and "forget" to bring them back ! Extreme but it worked.:rotfl:1/11/06 -1/06/07 BSC #42

Colchester Zoo sell Zoo Poo online, I got my Nanna some last year for her birthday and it scared my three moggies witless. Also that tabby tom 3 doors up no longer uses Nan's garden as his own personal toilet.0

Many thanks for the replies.
I don't want to do anything nasty to the cats because we have very good neighbours and I wouldn't want to upset any of them.
Just want to keep the cats away.
The can do a lot of damage to cars and the cover that we have on our hot tob (which costs hundred of pounds) and they are poo-ing in the garden and leaving us with nice little piles of chippings.0
