This is a superb deal. I have filled my boots here! There are Campanile hotels at Washington, Wakefield, Bradford, Manchester, Hull and Bradford. There is still loads of availability and I am genuinely surprised that the site has not crashed as often happens when such a deal comes along at other hotels.

The site is easy to use but you have to go day by day to find the £1 deals......do not try to book more than 2 nights at a time otherwise the normal price comes up.

Thanks again Simon. Myriad karma points deposited for you!

Unfortunately, it looks as though the site has now crashed. I've tried to book direct with two hotels (Liverpool & Cardiff) but unfortunately both have said it is an internet only deal.

Keep trying the internet site.....https://www.campanile.com I think others may have discovered the deal to cause the site to crash. best of luck.

Thank you so very, very much OP! Just booked two nights in Leicester in January for £1 per night - wow!

Edit: though just read not very good reviews on tripadvisor, so am wondering about it now. Should have read them before! Still, it's only £2, so either way won't be too much of a loss.

The determination has paid off - we're off to Glasgow for 2 nights for £2.. what a bargain. :money:

    Thanks for the heads up.

what are these hotels like? I remember we used to comment on the one in Wakefield that who on earth would build a hotel overlooking a household waste site so have had a bad opinion of them based on that but would like to be proved wrong. Aren't they a French company?

I booked for the 29th and 30th January. I've just checked, and all the £1 rooms seem to have gone now, so only the £25 rooms left.
