Help choosing a webcam

Hello! My children are keen for a webcam, to use mainly on MSN. They've picked the Creative Live!Cam (675/0505 in Argos for £30).
I'm happy to spend up to £50, if this is value for money.
What do you good people advise? What would you buy? I'd rather spend a bit more now, and it last, than spend less and have to replace within the year.
Many thanks, Penny. x

I recommend the Logitech camreas as most fo them are preety good,w e have two of them, make sure you get a web camera with microphone built on, that way less cables should you need a sepertae microphone plugged into your sound card.
The cameras we have are as follows
Both work great with msn and in poor light conditions using the supplied software
Logitech QuickCam Messenger (not so good for mounting on a tft due to wide stand)
Logitech QuickCam Messenger with Microphone USB (ideal for TFT)
