PHOTO CALENDARS-FOR CHRISTMAS, Best price and quality hunt

For the last few years I've ordered personal calendars (wall and desktop) using photos for gifts at christmas. I have had them from Truprint, Aldi, Vistaprint and Mypix.
I've always ordered them at special offer prices, half price at truprint, percentage discount at Mypix (sorry- that was 5 years ago can't remember) and very cheap or minumal price at Vistaprint (just watch you haven't signed up for a direct debit).
I have liked all, they all differ in what they offer and layout etc.. Truprint have been my fave for wall calendars and value and Vista Print for desktops. I really liked the Aldi Wall calendar however the cost wasn't as cheap as Truprint (i treated myself though.. might as well as i was doing everyone elses!)
SO....HOW about posting any offers here or suggestions for good calendars. Truprint usually send e-mail offers.
They might not be in everyones budget, but at the most £15 it's a family gift (combine 2 peoples presents) which is not put away and it's used every day of the year unlike other gifts!!!! Best value present!
PLease post away with suggestions and offers...:snow_laug xx

Have posted this before but I bought blank photo calendars from The Papermill Shop and added my own photos. Got the calendars on an offer 5 for the price of 4 (they are now doing 2 for £6 so even cheaper) and most of the photos on a Snapfish offer 50 of photos for 1p each. Great present and pretty reasonably priced

I bought mine from a shop so didn't pay the online p&p - about £4 per order I think. The calendars are fab quality. If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
One of the cashback sites is offering £6 on opening and spending on pixum - so I am getting a calendar and 24 free photos, post and packing for the net price of £1.64....Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I did the Snapfish calendar last year which I loved because of being able to put personalised text for each day.
However, I have to create Slim line calendars for my mum and these are in very short supply.
in 2006 I used
http://www.calendar-wizard.com/index/index.php
I found the quality very good. But the calendars do not have bank hols etc printed on.
So in 2007 I found one that had bank hols etc, but I found them to be not as good quality print and paper as calendar-wizard, and they had too much advertising (their website address printed on every page). I can't seem to find the website for it though.
I just found this one:
http://www.my-calendars.co.uk/slim_calendar?category_id=0
Looks like they do bank hols pre-filled. But it doesn't seem to have the website printed on each page which is good. Bit steep though.0 -

Look at pigsback, quidco.co.uk, cashbackkings, ipoints etc for their best deals on cash back from photo companies. Then potentially sign up with one you like the look of and order a calendar. I signed up with one got £6 cash back so although my bill was £7 something with post and packing, free photos and a calendar - the net cost to me will end up as being £1 something once the cash back gets paid to me....chrissiewants2save wrote: »Help again- please can you explain. x

Hope that helps
They arrived today by the way. The photos are fine, the calendar looks a bit boring and has dates 1-31 for each month but doesn't show days of the week ie Monday, Tues etc. I am however planning to get my kids to decorate it so not too worried about that.....:rolleyes:Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
