My DD hates milk so i struggle with breakfasts as she gets fed up with the same thing. These are the breakfasts i've come up with:
Egg on toast
Boiled eggs & soldiers
Beans / Spag on toast
Cheese on toast
Toast with ham and cheese at the side
Muffins (made with bran flakes, banana & raisens) served with natural yogurt
Yuogurt and fruit
Can anyone think of any others? Does anyone else have the same problem?

It would help if your DD could eat wholemeal toast, as that improves its nutritional value.
Also, if she likes yoghurt and cheese I would try to make them very frequent breakfast items as it has the same calcium contents as milk (being made of milk of course).
A fruit salad with yoghurt topping is very yummy, especially in the summer.Be careful who you open up to. Today it's ears, tomorrow it's mouth.0 -

My 9yo son can't eat milk or butter so I do feel your pain.
He often has yesterdays leftovers heated up for breakfast. He positively loves tucking into shepherds pie or stew and mash in the morning.
Mashed sardines in tomato sauce on dry toast are another (fairly stinky) winner.
Scrambled eggs and baked beans on dry toast is the most common request.
If we need to be out quickly then an apple and a chunk of cheese works well too.Katie.0 -
I love having yoghurt with weetabix crushed and sprinkled on top and strawberries.
How about porridge made with apple juice instead of milk? I also know a few people who have juice on most cereals.Grocery budget in 2023 £2279.18/£2700Grocery budget in 2022 £2304.76/£2400Grocery budget in 2021 £2107.86/£2200Grocery budget in 2020 £2193.02/£2160Saving for Christmas 2023 #15 £ 90/ £3650 -
I have the same problem but mine do eat cereal and yoghurt??!?!!?!?
They have pancakes with banana and a scrapping of choc spread. I know I know but at the moment I'm grateful my daughter eats anything. They are also happy to eat dry cereal like cheerios. Why didn't someone kick me up the backside earlier:mad:

quaser, has a good point wholemeal toast, thats what we have been having for quite a while, even ds2 eats it.
You could try honey on wholemeal toast, with a glass of apple juice or orange juice (+ for 1 portion of fruit )'If you judge people, you have no time to love them'

Is it that she can't take milk or that she doesn't like to eat/drink it if she can see it??
My DS2 wouldn't drink milk, but would happily devour yoghurt. When it came to cereal, he tended to eat weetabix, onto which I could pour loads of milk but it all soaked in. He started eating porridge which was fine, until he saw that it was made out of oats and milk, so he started asking for "porridge without milk". I told him I would take the milk out of hisHe never cottoned on and happily drinks milk now.
