As a shareholder I have just received my voting form to vote on authorising new shares.
Does anyone have any advice as to vote For,Against or Withheld?

Without wishing to sound out of turn, will your vote actually count for anything?

Will it be the institiutions that hold a significant percentage share in Bradford & Bingley who'll be the ones to have the final say in what happens regarding the authorisation of new shares?
From what I have read in the press, it seems that a few financial institiutions / banks (HBOS included!) have agreed to underwrite the rights issue if there aren't enough takers anyway.
It also seems that whilst the shares dipped earlier in the week to a low of 34/35p, they have since 'rallied' somewhat to 47p (current price?) on the back of renewed bid speculation; whether a takeover will affect the authorisation of new shares also remains to be seen.0 -

Probably not, however as someone who did his banking with abbey after they bought out N+P and caused me no end of problems,I think B+B will be taken over soon, therefore I,m starting moving over to the Yorkshire bs,my no vote is for the hassle this is causing me! Cant wait to vote against the directors next
