In an effort to stay on top of my finances, in the interests of becoming debt-free, I have just been through all my financial papers and tidied them up, but I'm at a loss as to how long I need to keep everything. Does anyone have any pointers, or if there is a post of this nature anywhere on the site already can someone point me in the right direction?
Thanks
Thanks

The Inland Revenue can go back 6 years if they decide to do an investigation into your affairs, so I would keep items for 7 years to be on the safe side.0 -
