I enquired about a deal that seemed too good to be true, and I guess it was. It is a 2006 AUDI A4 2.0 TDi S Line 4dr Diesel Saloon for 4,100 GBP...
I emailed 'Britney Kand' at [EMAIL="britkand@yahoo.co.uk"]britkand@yahoo.co.uk[/EMAIL] and recieved this email when asking if it was;
a)Cat C/D
b)Possible to view in London as I was supposedly only 3 miles from the seller...

Probly the cleanest vehicle for sale anywhere. The interior is very clean and the body of the car is in perfect condition, no dents, dings, cracks or scratches anywhere. The engine runs very smooth and strong without any mechanical issues. The transmission is also in perfect condition running without any issues.
This car has never had paintwork and needs nothing. One of the best all around driving cars you can buy. If you have been waiting on a real clean enthusiast owned 2006 AUDI A4 2.0 TDi S Line 4dr Diesel Saloon you have found it.

I purchased the vehicle from England and used it while I worked there. Now because of the financial crisis I moved back to my home country, Switzerland. I brought the vehicle in Switzerland with me, but as the crisis is getting worse I can't afford to keep it anymore. Probably you are wondering why I am selling it for such a low price. The market price for right handed vehicles is low in Swiss and having a lower price than the UK market will bring me a buyer faster than having a high one.

Infact, seeing as though this scam is becoming increasingly popular, would it be an idea to have a sticky on this board whereby anyone that comes accross a similar situation can post the details of the seller and car that is being sold outside the country (usually Switzerland) at unbelievably low prices?

This is a severely common scam thats been going on for years now. Do autotrader not actually give advice about scams in their magazine and online? They also pull the ad very quickly if informed.
I dont think a thread for this would be a good idea as
(a) there are probably 100+ a week of these ads coming into existence and then being pulled
(b) if people dont understand the scam in the first place, then they wont know to trawl down through several pages of posts about suspicious ads.
The old addage applies here - if it seems too good to be true it probably is.0 -

The advert was most probably paid for using stolen/cloned card details. By the time the cardholder spots the unauthorised transaction the advert will have run for a few weeks.The man without a signature.0 -

There are always loads of these, usually BMWs, Mercs & Audis.
The seller can never take phone calls, can only be contacted by email, picture with the email address inserted into the gallery.....
Surprised you bothered to contact them at all TBH.
I reported a load to Autotrader recently and they took them off, soon to be replaced by another similar batch.0
