Terms and conditions

  1. No purchase necessary.
  2. Entries must be submitted before midnight 6th November 2009.
  3. This offer is open to residents of the United Kingdom and of the Republic of Ireland, aged 12 years or younger. All entrants should obtain parental / guardian consent to participate in this promotion and children posting their entry in-store must be accompanied by an adult.
  4. Entry into the Promotion is limited to one per person. Any Participant attempting multiple entries will be removed from the Promotion.
  5. The Promotion can be entered by posting your completed entry form (found in the Argos 'Big Play' flyer available in-store) in the Toy Tester entry box in-store or online via the website at www.argostoytester.co.uk. No other entry routes are available or valid.
  6. The winning entries will be shortlisted and judged qualitatively by independent adjudicators in conjunction with Argos based on answers being apt, original and interesting.
  7. There will be 3 age categories, and 10 winners within each category. There will be 30 winners in total. Age categories can be defined as follows; under 4 years, 4-8 years inclusive and 9-12 years inclusive (at the time of entry). Argos will choose one product from their Toy/Video Games range for each winner, each month for one year. Winners will be sent one toy per month from December 2009 - November 2010.
  8. Enclosed with each winners monthly toy will be a pre-paid card which allows each of them the opportunity once they have tested the toy to tell Argos what they think of their new toy in 25 words or less, and then return this to Argos.
  9. The prize is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash or credit alternatives will be given.
  10. This offer is not available to employees of or agencies appointed by Home Retail Group and their immediate families.
  11. The Promoter's decision is final in all respects. No correspondence will be entered into.
  12. The winner will be contacted by email or telephone within two weeks of the closing date.
  13. Use of a false name or email address will disqualify any applicant from receiving the prize.
  14. Details of the winners' names and counties can be requested by sending a SAE to 'Winners' List Argos Toy Tester competition, PO Box 1203. Hemel Hempstead. HP1 9FQ' after the closing date.
  15. Argos does not accept responsibility for entries lost, delayed, damaged or not received for whatsoever reason. Proof of sending is not proof receipt.
  16. Winner may be required to participate in publicity related to this Promotion.
  17. The Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Promotion in total or in part at any time in the event of proven or suspected fraudulent misuse of the entry mechanic or other significant technical or legal issues beyond the control of the Promoter.
  18. The Promoter will not pass Participants' personal details to any other organisation without their permission, except for the purposes of running this Promotion.
  19. Entries will not be returned to entrants after the Promotion.
  20. By entering the competition, Participants have accepted and agreed to the Promoter's privacy policy at http://www.argos.co.uk/static/StaticDisplay/includeName/privacyPolicy.htm and have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

    Thanks for posting, but this was posted HERE by ikkle87 a couple of days ago.

    Please can you read VelvetGlove's comping guide here as it will show you how to post, search for duplicates and so on - it's really helpful.

    Sorry - not meaning to be picky, but most comps are one entry per person and some also eliminate entrants if they enter more than once :(
