Rehau Heritage Sash Windows

I am thinking of replacing my single glazed timber sash windows with double glazing and wonder if anyone has had any experience with Rehau Heritage Sash windows.
I would like to know also if there is a significant difference in cost between using these or getting timber double glazing.
I live in a Conservation area and notice that my local council have been allowing these in place of Timber.
The house is a small Georgian terrace in Cumbria with 8 windows of roughly 75cmx135cm.
Unfortunately, refurbishing the windows is not an option due to the noise from the street I live on.
Thanks in advance for the help.

hi, I have lots of experience with the rehau slider, I helped design it back in 1984! Now I make my own PVC sash windows. If you send me a private message I'll answer any questions you have and point you in directions to help

Buying quality goods which last, should be an investment that saves money. :T
Buying cheap products which fail, wastes money and costs twice as much in the long run.
