Pontins nr southport

yep...dont go its a pig hole..I have been to some places in my life but that one is about the worst ever

it's like Alcatraz. I grew up in Merseyside and occasionally my school would have events happening there, I remember even as a kid thinking how bleak it was. I went back there a couple of years ago for a friends hen night (cheap place to stay) and it hadn't improved at all. The rooms were basic but not the cleanest I'd ever been in, ok for one night but I think deep depression would have set in if I had had to stay more than one night.

It's a shame too because Southport has a lovely old world seaside resort feel to it and ainsdale beach (right by pontins) is one of the prettiest beaches in the uk (imo)
