GREAT prices on sofas at ILVA!!

Just came home from a trip to ILVA where we bought a smart looking sofa for a fraction of the price we would pay for sofas of the same great quality anywhere else!!
We always loved ILVA's design and quality (as do all our family and friends in Denmark) so we were ecstatic to find out there was a store just 1 hour away!
Here are some of the prices on their leather sofas:
Clifton (3 seater): Was 998
Now 598
Sheffield (3 seater) Was 594
Now 450
Trento (3 seater) Was 796
Now 650
People should really visit their loval ILVA. So many assume it is probably just like Ikea - it could not be further from the truth!
The stores are beautiful, costumer service is fantastic and the great quality and design of the furniture can't be beat.
Sorry for going on about it - my husband and I are just very proud of Danish design and their high standars

One of their sofas is EXACTLY identical to one of the Ikea ones (went in on Sunday to both shops in Lakeside and gave both a very close inspection as we were thinking of buying one) so they must have the same suppliers for some things. We even went as far as pulling all the cushions out

I think this Ilva enthusiast is a spammer by the way - there are too many posts from the same person banging on about Ilva. And it's a new poster (gave some excuse about losing her password).
FWIW we were distinctly unimpressed by Ilva last week, the salesmen struck me as being a tad on the slimey side (sorry, I hope there are none reading this
) and the furniture would have looked great in a massive footballers house in Chigwell but not in our cottage, the prices were higher than Ikea and the quality only comparable (it was just displayed a lot better than Ikea). Overhyped rubbish IMHO. 0 -
No, I am not a spammer!! I was afraid I was going to come across s one.
My username used to be just HAVFRUE -- I just spent all afternoon trying to access my other password without success. I just can't remember what it was.
I am just really excited about this store as my husband and kids are Danish and we are very proud of it our stors and things.
The suppliers have nothing to do with one another. And it is fine if you think that the quality is similar, but with years experience I know it is not. Try to examine the furniture closely (like looking under the sofas and examining the stitching, etc). But yes, the good stuff in IKEA (and there some pieces that are good) are somewhat comparable - the better stuff in IKEA costs the same btw.
We got a 240 cm long sofa for 390 pounds -- a funky looking Cremona. The price was better than the other IKEA sofas we had looked at0 -
There you go!!
I was finally able to find my log on information for my original username!!! Was hidden under a pile of junk in hotmail :mad:0 -
Thank you havfrue for the vote of confidence on this store, I have looked many times at the online site (shame they don't do online ordering!) and in my opinion it all looks well designed homeware.
I do hope to be able to get to the Manchester store soon although it is quite a distance from where I live! - Having heard good things about it I will make the effort!
Just moved in to a house that was previously owned by a Danish couple who left lights (DARØ) etc and the quality really speaks for itself. Thanks0
