answer: nylon

The Harris No-Loss range is guaranteed against bristle loss even from the first use as it has nylon bristles, the size and quality of which remain completely constant.
The natural “split ends” of pure bristle have been recreated and even improved with No-Loss bristle which reduces the risk of brush marks to give a very fine finish. Nylon will not absorb water making No-Loss far superior to pure bristle in emulsion and water based gloss.
