British Gas Paperless Billing discount

I have had nothing but problems with my BG on-line account(haven't we all)
I was phoned today by BG(in Leeds) trying to explain the problems they were having putting my account in order.
Anyway it emerged in the conversation that BG stopped the discount for paperless bill last March.(it was £5 pa for each account)
They said we all received notification of this change of condition.
Well I didn't, but that is not surprising since my accounts are in such a state.
Has anyone else been notified that they have dropped this discount?

Although I don't work in the house division, I wasn't even told when the paperless billing discount went... it just kind of vanished. I think it went at the time of one of the price rises, so probably got buried in the small print.0

i registered for online billing in early june 2007 because on the BG website at that time 5.00 per account discount for paperless billing was being displayed. ( said something about 5.00 paperless billing discount was only payable once a full year of paperless billing had taken place.)0

I registered a couple of years ago and I believe I had 2 payments of £5 for each account. However as I can't access any of the history of my 4 accounts I can't be sure of that.
I have since been told that the discount went in March 2007(presumably when the price drop was announced) Tripled a BG employee confirms it has gone as well.
If it was on the website in June 2007(which doesn't surprise me) it was incorrect information.0 -
Both my gas and electric accounts with BG are showing as paperless billing (Click Energy 2) yet a bill for the electric landed on the mat today.
Good to see they have it all in order as usual!0
