Abbey Zero Card - How long did you wait?

I have a small amount of debt outstanding which I have sitting in the form of a loan at the moment. The debt is now of small enough size (around £3.5k), and I have enough in savings, to move it entirely onto a 0% card - and pay the balance off within 3 or 4 months.
So... initially I go to Halifax, I apply online, get the instant approval and am told the application will be with me within the next 4 working days - sure enough I get home from work the following day and its there.
The next day I read up about Abbey Zero card, which I hadn't heard of before - and think the 0% fee on BTs is a must (would save me about £90!). So I call up and apply on the phone (as other than going to a branch this is the only way I'm aware you can apply).
Again, I'm approved there and then and they tell me the credit limit. I'm then imformed that the application will be in the post straight away.
Its now almost a week, I called and have been told that they haven't even CREATED the pack to put it in the post?!?! Apparently 'applying on the telephone is the slowest way of doing it, we have to manually put your applicaiton pack together'. <- Sorry, what? I would imagine that regardless of how you applied the T&Cs are the same, and they are printed from a template - likewise I'll be suprised if the application form itself is anything other than generic. How the hell can it take that long to post out some documents?! They already did the credit check on the phone and gave me approval.
So, anyone with an Abbey Zero card - how long did it take you to get your forms?

This happened to me when I applied online and phoned up several weeks later after hearing nothing from Abbey, After Abbey told me that they had no record of my application, despite me quoting them the reference number the internet application had provided me, I then went into the branch to make a further application. I ended up with 2 abbey cards a few weeks later... one not even being an Abbey Zero. It was a nightmare!
I would advise going to the branch as the branch staff were v helpful although be warned the credit card team themselves are awful to deal with!Jan 1st 07 Car loan £4830.46@12% Personal Loan £11,517@8% variable Overdraft £1500 July 2009Halifax-£0Debt free date 14th July 2009 :j0 -

I'd chase them up by telephone Simon as they are v disorganised and won't phone you. It may be, like me, that they didn't ever process your application.Jan 1st 07 Car loan £4830.46@12% Personal Loan £11,517@8% variable Overdraft £1500 July 2009Halifax-£0Debt free date 14th July 2009 :j0

How did you manage to apply for a card that was withdrawn about 2-3 months ago ? Maybe that's why you heard nothing
I'm guessing here, but was it this one ?
ShAbbey are known for their shambolic service. I'd give them a call if I were you.0 -
