hi keza,
there was a nov 2010 thread before, dont think there is many of us though!
we are getting married 18/11 cant believe it only 10 months away still got loads to do.
have booked registry office and venue and booked photographer but not much else!!0 -
I'm a November Groom am I allowed in here?? :rotfl:
We're getting married on the 13/11/10 and thanks to you Keza I now know that it's 10 months tomorrow! A very sobering thought!!
We haven't done anything yet apart from booking the church!!0 -
hey Mel and pbobojon - of course ur allowed here!! im so excited!
cant believe its only 10 months away.
We have booked the venue, registrar, given our notice of marriage, booked photographer, cars, honeymoon, flowers and i have my dress (coz it was a bargain at £400!)
Whats your budgets?
We did have a budget for £14k inc honeymoon but that is now touching £19k. so easy to get carried away! xxCurrent Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).0 -
We haven't really got a budget as such. Both parents are contributing £5k so I guess we will try and come in at under that with the honeymoon too!
Everything is sooooooooo expensive though!!0 -
Was just about to start a November thread, I'm glad I found this. We get married 27th November which is now 45 weeks and 4 days away!
I have booked the room for the engagement party, got the invites to make my own, decided on my colour scheme. Booked the church, which has everything included so I don't need to worry about my license etc and we have a location for the reception, basic guest list and an idea of food and centre pieces, it's just getting it all organised considering we don't have a particulary large budget0 -
Hey everyone how are you all getting on with your plans?
me and other half booked our honeymoon at weekend - going to jamaica for 10 nights cant wait!!
Have also sorted one of my bridesmaids dresses just got another one to find a dress for!!!
still got so much to do though list doesnt seem to be going down any!0 -
Was originally a Bonfire Bride for 2010 but now cancelled
( as we just can't afford it
Hoping we can make it 5 November 2011 instead
Good luck to you all and happy planning0 -
I don't think there's a thread yet so I thought I would start one!
So what's your date and how far have you got with your planning?
We're getting married on the 12th and have a modest 3k budget. We've only booked the church as far but I'm bursting with all the stuff I want to book/buy. Like most budget savvy couples out there we're having a later ceremony (3pm) then straight onto the evening reception. Mse has become my daily fix:kisses2: Getting Married 5th November 2011 :kisses2:0 -
hi all! Lexxi - 1 year today!!!!
I think i may be more excited about my honeymoon than my big day hahah!
our cravats came last night. see, we are having a 'different' colour scheme. not one colour, not 2 but 4! 1 best man, 3 ushers and 1 head bridesmaid and 3 bridesmaids. the 4 colours are the colours of the gerbera flowers! red, fuschia, orange and yellow.
a lot of mixed thoughts on this and i was a little unconvinced myself after some friends started putting me off but i stuck to my guns. order the cravats a few weeks ago to check the colours were right and went together before we order the dresses! and they are perfect! we are using dessy for the cravats and dresses to be sure they are the same colours etc and the same dress for all 4 bridesmaids but in different colours! phew - essay!
Hows everyone else doing? xxxCurrent Mortgage balance - £363,785.35/£420,000 (highest point Oct 2022).0 -
Hello newbie to this part of the forum, only just found it after scrolling lol. d'oh!
Am Marie and getting married November 18th in Cyprus, we fly out on the 14th till the 28th, with a select few family, some good friends and our 3 children.
I'm so looking forward to it, only 96 days left :rotfl:
Can't say its been carefully planned as we've had hardly any money to do it. Its been a skrimp and scrape job.
I'm not embarrassed to say that all outfits, headwear, jewellry and shoes are second hand from ebay. My dress was from ebay but brand new (ex-display)
I'm so proud of the amount i've spent and everything looks brand new
Any more Cyprus brides out there?0
