Cheap HK flights accomodation.

Wow, its been so long since i posted. Anyway........

I'm looking to go on a short trip to Hong Kong in early March. I thought i'd ask here first, to see if anyone knows any websites for cheap flights and/or accomodation deals.

The normal cheap airlines only seem to serve Europe.

Bump. Hmmmm, i have checked out expedia.co.uk............is this a good site to use? I'm sure there must be better. Thanks in advance for any help.

Because is you are you will find 40,000 supporters flying into Hong Kong for the World Cup Sevens which is held March 18th - March 20th. the knock on effect is that price go up from around the 14th onwards and then its Easter!!

I have used these before when I went to Canada just before xmas, found them very helpful to deal with.

I'm not keen on Expedia or any of the other UK sites.
If I were you I would go to Kelkoo and compare flight prices and the cheapest place I found for hotel prices was a suoer site in Hong kong

I have used https://www.sagitta-tvl.com and have found them to be very good. They are a chinese travel agent based in London but you could ask for an english speaking agent.

A flight with them (Virgin) is usually about £380 and you get an extra 10kg luggage allowance on top of the usual that Virgin would give you direct!

As for hotels, we stay at the Royal Plaza in Mong Kok; it's a lovely hotel and is built directly over an MTR station (very convenient) and shopping mall. It's also literally 5 minutes walk from Ladies Market. The published rates are HK$1000 per night for a standard room, but I book through a chinese website and it works out to about £22 per night and includes a buffet breakfast. Not sure what the site is off the top of my head but will have a hunt later and let you know!

There are a couple of Chinese travel agents based in Chinatown in London and serve primarily the Chinese community. Noo has done very well tracking one down! I have come across Sagitta before. Have not used them yet but am not aware of anything negative. These Chinese agencies do offer very good prices and with a number of different airlines.
