I just returned my V5 form with a copy of the invoice from the Conversion company and they amended it to dual fuel and sent it back.
I also got a replacement tax disc showing dual fuel and a refund.0 -

So thats that theory gone lol.
MOT does not record CO2 emissions only CO emissions. Tax is based on CO2 emissions.

That was true but Ken  has put a stop to it.

That's news to me, How did you get DVLA to change it's fuel status and hence it's VED rate?
Credit is only available if car was first registered after 2001.
Discount remains under the new punative tax regime from next year but is reduced to £15.
Yes, if Ken gets re-elected the exemption for LPG cars is going to go but that is nothing to do with LPG, or even emissions/polution. Pretty much all the exemptions are going.0 -
Has anybody checked what their tax liability will be with a lpg converted car under the new tax rules? I have a 1.6 Hyundai and the tax is jumping to £260 next March!! I'm thinking if I change to LPG a saving in tax might make a conversion worthwhile - especially with the fuel cost savings.0
