Well the engineer from Indesit, who also repair hotpoint and other brands, said definitely DON'T go for a frost free. he said the majority of faults he attends are for frost free models.
I am still looking for a F/F must be about 55cm wide and 170cm high , 50 / 50 split preferably. I wish I had ordered the Hotpoint RFA52 from argos when they had £50 off it. I just missed out by a day I think.0 -
I cant recommend any particular model but i can rcommend this Comet site for getting a bargain. They basically sell their seconds on this auction site.
I bought a F/F a couple of weeks ago for a very good price. £100 cheaper than in-store including delivery. The customer service/delivery was very good too.
Always do your research though and set a max price before you start bidding otherwise you may not get such a bargain.
This link may be else where on this site, not sure but here it is again.

P.S The damage on the F/F i recieved was a 2 inch dent bottom right hand side. Perfect as its been put in between the cupboard and a wall anyway so you cant see it.0 -
Have a look at Good housekeeping magazine website - they also do product comparisons, probably on a smaller scale than Which, but I always trusted their advice and haven't been sorry yet!!!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
