I notice that Coke Zero 1.75L is no longer 2-for-£2 on A.com now.

    Me neither £1.73 a bottle.
I've just had a delivery of lamb and beef. The beef was substituted for larger pieces:j but the lamb goes out of date on Friday! I spoke to south Africa who are contacting the store to arrange drop off of two more and collection of these two. I need them for Sunday and I know they are a good price but even so three days life:eek:

  • Well done Hermes - they gave me a 12 hour slot today 8am to 8pm to collect an item - they have just been for it so that's nice and early :T

Not used them before but they are half the price of RM for the weight involved.

So another item gone in the great de-clutter. :j

Trying to make a list S v A as I have a conditional spend MOC. Only thing I have seen so far is Spam, 340g, only £1 in A but £2.25 in S

    Get well soon, Snap. xx

things that have to happen and
things that might happen if I ever finish list A

  • Snap what a great time to stop smoking you've gone through the hardest bit already. As to changing your bed don't do too much. Is there nobody else who can do it for you? Or go and lie on the couch? Try to eat something to give yourself a bit of strength. I hope you feel better soon.

mhoc, I agree with you. Weddings cost a small fortune today, and I have been trying to encourage my son and future dil to simply get married abroad and combine with a holiday. They have been engaged for ages and are saving for a deposit. The two kids do not help with the saving lol.

That said, I can hardly speak as we had a nice white wedding with the trimmings, just it wasn't so disproportionately expensive then (and my father paid, about the only thing he was good for).

At one stage my dd and her boyfriend were considering moving to the Yorkshire area where his mum lives, they would have more chance of buying a house there, the incredible thing is that a house equivalent to ours is 17 - 20% of the price of ours up there

That's me and my dp in 61 days time. We're off to Aruba! Taking our two girls, our mums, sisters and nephew.

    Can't wait !

Wishing you lots of strength today bubbs and hope that your family can get through this difficult time xxx
