Good morning everyone. Please be very careful with cheap wills. They quite often have a probate clause in them. This is where they make their money. When you die and they sort the will out they take a large commission. It is sometimes better to pay for the will with no probate/commission so it is done & dusted with no penalties after you have gone.

I'm just looking at the weekly email:

    Supermarket Christmas saving stamps loophole.
    [...]

    - Asda scheme up to 4%. Put £144 on an Asda savings card by 5pm on Sat 15 Nov (or now for convenience) and on Sun 16 Nov you'll have £150. Do it as many times as you like - if you want to do less, the bonus is smaller. As forumite Fluffysox says: “Last year, bought three saver cards on a cashback credit card. Got the bonus plus cashback - used them on grocery shopping until the end of Feb."

I'm not sure that that is a "loophole". I thought it was just how the cards work. And fairly well-known anyway - I'm sure if it was a "loophole", that was that well-known, they'd close it pretty quickly! End of February though? Only as short as that?!?:eek: I bought a card and used it until the end of August:rotfl::rotfl:. Obviously spending wayyyy too much money and not getting APGs back off every shop:rotfl:.

I got 2 last year and am still using the second! Spend so little actual cash that I only use the card if over a few £'s otherwise recycling wombles/APGs.

I could never do that! Would feel like I was short changing myself. I once used a 24.00 apg. It was a mistake cause forgot to split my shopping but I find the 15.00 and thereabouts don't even get a comment usually.
