postal, texts or phone. Which one do you do?

Options
So far I have done postals as it's the cheapest option of the three. But I only send one postcard, not up to 39 or whatever ridiculous number it is.

I'm considering phoning though.

    None of the above.

There are enough free entry comps on here to keep me busy without paying to enter a comp.

Good luck to those that wish to pay though.

    lol,

 up to thirty seven (37) entries per phone number.
Entrants who enter twice from the same phone number will receive an additional, third entry into the Prize Draw without charge (based on the same details as submitted in the second call).
Thereafter, with each subsequent entry from the same phone number, the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge (based on the same details as submitted in their previous paid entry).

This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers.
This can be repeated to reach the thirty seven (37) entries per phone number limit.
Each call costs no more than £1.54 from BT landlines.
Other networks may be higher and from mobiles considerably more.

SMS text – send an SMS text with or without the keyword
    The keyword is not required information so SMS entries without the keyword or where the keyword is misspelt will still be counted and charged;
up to thirty seven (37) entries per phone number.
SMS entrants will receive a SMS reply message acknowledging their SMS entry and inviting them to enter the Prize Draw via SMS a second time using the same mobile number.
Entrants who send a second SMS text using the same mobile number to the closing date and time will receive an additional, third entry into the Prize Draw without charge.
Thereafter, with each subsequent entry from the same mobile number,
the entrant will receive an additional entry without charge.

This therefore works as a “3 entries for the price of 2 entries” offer followed by “buy one entry get one entry free” offers.
This process may be repeated to reach the thirty seven (37) entries limit.
Each of the SMS entrant’s chargeable SMS text entries costs £1.50 plus one standard network rate message.
If you do not want to receive SMS marketing texts about similar products and services, please add NO INFO at the end of your SMS text entry.

Post – send your entry on a postcard or on or within an envelope to (whichever address)
Entries received on anything other than a postcard or envelope will not be accepted.
In the case of multiple entries received in an envelope or postcard,
only one entry will be entered into the Prize Draw.
Sufficient postage must be paid – any entries without sufficient postage will be discounted.
The Promoter and producers bear no responsibility for any entry that is incorrectly submitted, lost or received after the closing date, or damaged in any way.

    postcard/envelope looks the cheapest :D
but as ever use your own common sense to just enter what you can afford :)

None of them - If I was going to gamble with money I wouldn't do it by paying to enter competitions.

I hadn't noticed they had upped the limit
For the purposes of this Prize Draw, the 30 entries in Clause 7.3 of the General Terms shall be deleted and replaced with 40 entries

So they think it is acceptable to have people spending up to £30 per phone number entering the competition - another reason web has gone as they probably would have needed to allow the same 37 free entries per telephone number.

couple of postcard entries with a 2nd class stamp will do me
as I don't pay for stamps & postcards are free from various places, i'm just grateful for the answer/s to the programmes provided by others as I don't watch the programmes :D

Not for me to question of course but how does one get free stamps?

I would really appreciate a link/tip as it would be great to avail myself of such a great comping trick.

Thanks again for all your help.

If you're lucky enough to work somewhere with a franking machine perhaps? ;) otherwise you can get them quite cheap from eBay.

Where are the free postcards? Last I saw free postcards were in student/college bars but Christ, that's going back some 15+ years ago.

I used to be on the Royal Mail testing panel thing, where they send you books of free stamps every month as payment; however I had to come out of it as it was too time consuming and I had a lot of stuff going on at the time. The free stamps were a very useful perk though.
