[Edit - oh- what am I coming into?:rotfl::rotfl:]

On Tvs S earlier, I mentioned seeing a very good comparison some days ago. I've now found what it was, whilst I was looking for something else.

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=65362562&postcount=9824

    T's Unsmoked Gammon Steaks (2 per pack - 360g).

And here we are...months later, Savvy has finally caught up with this (you :wall:):(:(. This is in the 2 for £7/3 for £10, the infamous offer that included the Beef Burgers vs M some while ago. Where there is more than one promotional mbuy operating at once on the same items, the promotion, whether in operation at T or at the competitor, is disregarded by T PP. This is part of the T&Cs and it's another 'ensuring there is a fair comparison' by T.

I've now gone and clicked to bring up all the offers in the 2 for £7 for T on msm. As only the 2 for £7 shows on msm, I am assuming that all the products in that T offer are also on 3 for £10 mix and match in T.

So - where there is a T mbuy promotion (such as the one here, two different mbuy promotions on the same item) that is excluded by T PP, then buy on mbuy in T. If the mbuy promotion in question (two different mbuys on the same item) is at a competitor, do not attempt to compare T vs there as the rival's prices will return full priced. (This may have something to do with individual Mullers when A is operating two offers?)

In line with my usual - and extremely helpful - completist approach I've now distributed every item in the T 2 for £7(/3 for £10), as showing in 2 for £7 on msm.co.uk, amongst Tvs A, Tvs S and Tvs M in accordance with what's showing on that website and used my own skill:D/judgement in adding the odd one or two also onto Tvs M where it appears to me that M may stock the equivalent (even though msm is saying N/A for Morries). Some onto Tvs M are for further instore M checking in due course. I may well go there tomorrow to 'undertake a price observation exercise':D, even if aau1 would disapprove or would think pretty useless as of course only what APG and T PP actually say matter! Even so, I've found my own price information to reflect the APG for example more than what msm.co.uk now has. I've decided that's so useless that, to hell - I'm going back to M price collections:j (but of the now-discovered-to-be quicker memory-style collection:j:j).

I might take a pen and paper for the meat and another one of the aisles just to ensure I have some more detailed info. in those areas, but other parts to be a brisk walk:cool:.

I've not put the items onto my various lists on here yet, and to be honest doubt they'll ever make there as too time-consuming to sort that all out; instead expect a post to appear soon of the items in the 2 for £7 (/3 for £10) and to where they may compare. There is further to be done here as some of these items may turn out to have vastly different weights and therefore not to compare. Just to clarify, I've distribued the items that show pricing elsewhere (from the items in the T offer as showing on msm) into my "T vs" private lists (the info. from which is later selected to go into my list posts on here). While acknowledging that msm is completely irrelevant to T PP, it's proven to be a pretty good start in helping decide what might compare to where! And all of which should be good full prices, with some more comprehensive clue as to what items to compare to which rivals than we've previously had before.

Sorry David., and sorry FC, my impeccable timing again:rotfl: (I know I don't need to 'apologise' to you FC, it's just a turn of phrase so no need to reply telling me I didn't need to apologise;):D.)

    Here we go -

All items on £4.00 each & the mbuy offers (2 for £7 and believed to be 3 for £10) in T.

Prices below are the price set-ups, according to msm, at the stated competitor as at 6/5/14.

    Tvs A

    Young's Breaded Fish Fillets (4 per pack - 600g)
    £4.00/Any 3 for £10.00

Richmond Irish Recipe Thick Sausages (16 per pack - 908g)
    £4.00/Any 3 for £10.00

Tesco Chicken Breast Wrapped in Bacon with Cheese (2 per pack - 395g)
(A product = ASDA Chicken with Cheese & Bacon (380g))
    £4.00/Any 3 for £10.00

Tesco Hunters Chicken (430g) (probably N/A - A product 2g outside of weight)
    £3.45/Any 2 for £6.00

Tesco Turkey Breast Quick Cook Steaks (350g)
    £2.50 each

    Tesco Lamb Leg Steaks (270g)£4.00
1xASDA Butcher's Selection Boneless Lamb Leg Steaks (310g)£4.00
    (need to check a.com)

    Tvs S

    Young's Breaded Fish Fillets (4 per pack - 600g)
    £4.00/Any 3 for £10.00

Richmond Irish Recipe Thick Sausages (16 per pack - 908g)
    £4.50:eek:/Any 3 for £10.00

Tesco Smoked Gammon Steaks (2 per pack - 360g)
    Msm says £3.50/Any 2 for £5.00 (irrelevantly)

Tesco Unsmoked Gammon Steaks (2 per pack - 360g)
Msm says £3.50/Any 2 for £5.00 but T PP previously had £2.00 price - is/was this Sains. Basics Unsmoked Gammon Steaks (500g) at £2.00?

Tesco Smoked Back Bacon Rashers (2x250g)
    £4.00/Any 3 for £10.00 (but Sainsbury's Smoked Back Bacon (2x225g) on 10% limit)

    Tesco Lamb Diced Leg (300g)
    £4.50:eek:/Any 3 for £10.00

    Tvs M

Tesco Boneless Salmon Fillets (2 per pack - 220g)
£4.00/Any 3 for £10.00 (Morrisons Skinless Salmon Fillets (2 per pack - 240g) - here I'm not concerned about 20g less weight;). Unless of course it means N/A return.)

Tesco British Beef Lean Steak Mince (500g)
    £3.89/Any 2 for £6.00

[Strike]Tesco Chicken Breast Wrapped in Bacon with Cheese (2 per pack - 395g)
Morrisons Kitchen Chicken & Bacon Parcels (395g)£4.00/Any 2 for £7.00[/Strike] - decided best to go vs A in any event, as A product much closer in style to T's.

    Tesco Pork Chops (620g)
    £4.00/Any 3 for £10.00 (M 630g, not concerned with if compares from 3x £4 =£12)

    Tesco Lamb Chops (270g) N/A:rotfl: Go on - I'll tell you: M's 280g Lamb Chops on £4.00 and 3 for £10.00

    Tesco Chicken Drumsticks 1.1kg
    £3.49 (M 1kg)

Tesco Diced Chicken Mini Fillets 400g
    £2.00 (M is 400g, but some packs in M at £4.00)

Above to add to the applicable lists Tvs S and Tvs M on 'post 6247 onwards' and Tvs A now on post 20.
