Been to Tosco to look for 'bargains' whilst picking up a click and collect order. Decided as my local doesn't have scanners for customer use that I would register to use the handheld scanners. So my £1.26 spend showing the 10p and 1p items is very visable against my details. Did scan lots and remove it when I didn't like the prices, and presume that's all visable against me too. I even got selected for random checking and thought there's no way she'll let me have the stuff now!!!!
She checked the last 8 items as per what she said she had to do, but I don't understand given the last 8 items were the same 1p items (there were actually 24 of them the same) why she said for me to carry on.
Anywhere mostly I think the items have been mentioned but just incase this is my information
Some of the items will be headed to the charity tombolas I contribute to.

Very much like to thank everyone who posts their finds, as without you I certainly wouldn't get any 'bargains'.
Incidently all my 10p and 1p items were on clipstrips EXCEPT ES Amaretto Flutes which were on shelf in chocolate aisle with the rest of the full price merchandise.
    1p items
2 x dotty pencil cases BC: 2386 - no SEL
1 x Tesco Index Marker BC: 1743 - no SEL
    16 x ES Amaretto Flutes 150g Exp Jan2015 BC:1524 - SEL £1.50
    3 x Napkins 24cm 20pk black/silver pattern BC: 9068 - no SEL
24 x 2 pack Inflatable Celebration Rally Sticks BC5189 - no SEL in red, blue or white with same bar code

    10p items
    3 x mini gift bags dif patterns same BC:2676 - SEL 70p
    3 x T Merry Christmas 'banner' Large 6pk Gift tags BC:2355
    1 x T Christmas 8pk tags BC:2386

I don't think I have ever, or will ever see Chrisv suggest that you should order things just to refuse them.

    Thanks Sfsb :)

Hi chrisv, I don't remember the 15.00 cap. What is that? Is it what we aim to keep the apg under? I tend to agree that 48.00 is a bit hair raising - I watched those getting the snakes a while back and thought theirs were big at the time!

But confusing advice is only what led to today's result (which I am still happy with :j) and you also advised to return ariel if not 3.00 on receipt :o

Shows £5.20 on A.com and MSM, but it's £3 instore.

To work tomorrow, prices will have to stay at £5.20 on MSM and £3 instore.

You could do a C/C or delivery for tomorrow, but not accept if anything changes?

Sorry if my post of 23 Jan. confused you sparklyfee, but this was posted on the first day of the glitch, when the ariel actually was priced at £3 instore. I think it is only right to refuse an item if it was priced at a lower price in store than charged to your receipt. This would be an error by Asda.

The glitch was that MSM and A.com were showing incorrect prices at that time.

The offer in A's (in my store at least) ended on Sunday, and it is now priced at £5.20, this is no longer a glitch.

The £15 cap was in force for a short while last year - I think as a result of some very high APG's.

    Current t&c -
Before we issue any vouchers for £15 or more, we may check that they have been accurately calculated. You accept that there may be a delay of up to 7 days in us issuing vouchers for £15 or more.

Different folks have different lines. We won't always agree and some of us (myself included) can even change our public stance :o)

As long as people don't get nasty the thread can continue to be a happy, supportive, informative place ;)

Thanks :T I've had a rubbish day and thought I was helping and getting involved when I posted my comparison. Until someone went to the trouble of creating a fake account to slate me :( seems nasty and a bit personal.

However, I can rise above it in the name of keeping the thread friction free! And I hope that chrisv doesn't think I was having a go. I wasn't, I appreciate your advice (I just clearly don't understand c and c) :o

No problem - it doesn't take much :rotfl: I saw yesterday that some were still having success as it was 3.00 in store still, hence why I thought there was still a glitch. I never said that you advised to order something with the intention of returning it and hope you understand what I meant.

Going to shut up now and retreat to my hidey hole where I clearly belong :o:T thanks for the great thread anyway everyone. You are saving me a fortune

Aye free, aff-han', your story tell,
    When wi' a bosom crony;
But still keep something to yoursel',
    Ye scarcely tell to ony:
Conceal yoursel' as weel's ye can
    Frae critical dissection;
But keek thro' ev'ry other man,
    Wi' sharpen'd, sly inspection.
