OMG! You're right. I just tested it for myself by typing the 4 letter word that rhymes with dove and means affection. When I previewed my post it came out "!!!!"
I'm pleased this has been brought up, because even before this I thought that MSE go way over the top with banning words. But to ban the 'L' word is beyond a joke!
I guess it won't be long before my user name is banned too.

Although the basic problem of words such as love, sale and magic being banned, has been corrected, where a link got changed to show !!!!!, it has not been automatically corrected. So the original link still shows !!!!! and will not work unless the OP goes back and puts it right again.0 -
