  • Thanks for this info - turns out there is one near me on Wednesday night with places available :j

I have signed up for it but I see that you have to present your invite on arrival  do they specifically ask you for it or will your confirmation email be enough???? Obviously, I don't have an actual invite :o In the form where it asks you to fill in how you heard about the event I just ticked "other" and said "Recommended by a friend" - thought it best to be honest, but I don't want to go all the way there to then get turned away!! :rotfl: I missed out on the Finest tasting evenings too so this would be lovely - are the Christmas ones any good (more importantly, do you get any goodies??? :rotfl: :D)

    :D

i have just registered this morning my email says
Thank you for registering for the exclusive Christmas evening held at TESCO ******* on 27/11/2013 at 18:00.
On arrival, you will be greeted at the entrance by a store colleague. They will then guide you up to the event welcome desk
If you need to change the session that you have registered for, or you are no longer able to attend, you can log in and amend your details here.
We look forward to seeing you and *** on 27/11/2013.

Dunno if this means you'd get turned away :(

curlgirl, did you get an actual invite from Tesco or did you just follow the link given above, like I did? I have gone ahead and registered for my store's event on Wed and got the same email response as you have set out, but I'm just worried that they will ask me for an original invite - which I of course don't have! :p

It took me 11 go's to get the Amazon voucher, I found a tesco receipt and it said 'not recognised' so it seems my local Extra isn't holding one :(

    RIP Mad :A

I thought I'd bring this across

some words of wisdom from my mum (to a friend who was getting upset at the fact that she cried more at a nephews funeral than her husbands)

'we don't just cry for the person we are remembering today, we cry for everyone we have ever lost'

    very apt I think
