  • There are about 23 million dwellings in England alone, two thirds of the market are energy illiterate 'sticky's [63% gas & 65% leccy] who, even though their bills have significantly increased significantly over the last several years and savings can be had by switching, this 'sticky' group paying the highest rates to subsidise other users .. .. refuse to engage.

    Get the 'sticky's unstuck!

500,000th person is a good start, however at least 20 to 40 times that number is required to create a consumer beneficial competitive pricing energy market.

It is strange that so many people seem oblivious to the fact that savings can be made rather easily when people seem to be getting otherwise more energy concious (energy usage dropped 25% in just 6 years).
  • I joined the Energy Club last month and applied for a switch. I was supposed to be switched to Npower, and got a confirmation email from you, but when I contacted npower, after I'd heard nothing more about it after four weeks, they said they knew nothing about it. My old deal has now expired and I'm stuck on the (expensive) standard rate with a company (Scottish Power) I very much want to get away from. I've sent Energy Club several emails about this but have yet to get any kind of reply (other than the automatic "we've got your email" kind). Not very good performance by you is it?
