FC, I could debate this forever! Like blind people who've never seen, that's just how the world is so they never know it's anything different.

And of course I never know I'm not receiving any body language (or giving any off, or at least not in the same way as 'everyone else') - indeed before I became aware I wasn't receiving body language I never thought there might be something I was missing.

In a way, though this is actually making the "problem" seem more of a problem than it actually is, it's worse for me and others with the same. When I was getting that Garnier shop, the SA at the till and a male customer (whom she knew? or maybe not?) was chatting away and away, seemingly blissfully unaware that I was waiting, waiting ages whilst time ticked on and the APG machine possibly changed on me! Better post this part before it gets lost...

...I'm sure if I had been like the vast majority of people, she would have subconsciously (I know this is a bit in-depth for this time of night!) picked up the body language of the waiting customer getting increasingly frustrated at waiting. She would have turned around and spoken to me in my direction and moved onto me. I'm almost sure!

I have this 'problem' whenever two people are talking to each other. If I go up to them and want to ask them anything, I am left there waiting and waiting whilst both of them seem engrossed in talking to each other and completely unaware of my presence. When anyone else goes up, the two people immediately turn round and talk to the new person! I'm sure it's body language being communicated - and also it's something called joint attention (a concept I was totally unaware existed until very recently).

Anyway - my point was that I suspect even blind people (obviously there's different degrees of blindness and not all blind people literally see a blackness - assuming they even perceive colour; I don't know) receive body language signals - if someone is totally blind, obviously they cannot see (with their eyes) someone else's body language. But I suspect they still perceive everyone's body language subconsciously - except of course my lack of transmitter or receiver in that area. Everyone (with ability to perceive body language) would probably be confused completely by what I am transmitting that way! I can almost guarantee if you think I look stressed, I am probably totally without stress. If you think I look happy, I'm probably feeling very depressed!

Ahh I know you could debate forever, my love. It's a very debatable subject. I don't mean to cause you to debate it. I find you absolutely lovely company that Ive come to understand, I like that!! alot :)

you make me :), I never did answer that. It just means that your posts, your way of looking at things makes me smile. I smile because Im familiar with your way of thinking. Not me personally, but I live with it everyday and I get a comfort of sorts that it's ' not just me' :)
