Is anyone waiting for payments on CBF ?
After reading the Shoutbox throughout today -
it would appear that some people have been waiting for payment since December
J has tried to sell the website 3 times over the past 2 years
I got sent a PM saying that people were moving to InstaGC, GolddiggerGPT and to check out Murk.com which is a task only site owned by Amazon0 -

Currently have $110 (around £60-£70) in pending, $50 of it since 4th June. Only reason I do these sites is because Im unemployed and have been for 3 years.
This isn't looking good.0 -

Hmm, have to admit it's starting to look a bit iffy. My last cashout was in February, received within a week or two.
MTurk is not much good for those in the UK, as the only payment option available if you are not in the US is Amazon.com gift vouchers, which can't be used on Amazon.co.uk.R.I.P. Bart. The best cat there ever was. :sad:0 -
I've received payment from them around this time last month. I'm owed a small amount for this month though - will stop completing offers til that comes through.0

I was last paid $5 PayPal on March 16.
In fact I requested another in June but last week I reversed the request to reduce the administration burden that whoever is going to look after the site will have, once J decides what he is going to do, once and for all.
Personally I have no animosity towards J, I am grateful for all the 1 day payments that used to happen until recently, in the 2 years I was a member.
So the last paltry $5 (£3 to us Brits) owed is insignificant in the scheme of things. If I get it one day then good, if not, at least it is not a massive loss in time or rewards.
Because for the last month since pay out, I have not bothered with anything more than the odd video now and then as I could sense the site was going to pot and I never usually do any offers or tasks on any site like this anyway.
So, my advice is, do one-off video views on a paying site, not on CBF, there are still some left.
Certainly NEVER do an offer where you are getting a percentage cashback on a purchase, as the probability is far too likely that you will never see it paid to you.
If you visit the CBF site and see "xyz" received $5 payment, be aware that it only means the automated scripts have registered on the Shoutbox that a person has REDEEMED their points for $5, not that they have actually received a payment of $5 to PayPal or in Amazon vouchers, just that it is a redemption request waiting to be processed.0 -
Message on CBF website this morning

Howdy Folks
I wanted to take a moment to update the status of the site. I do this as I did not want to leave my loyal users of almost 4 years in the dark as to the status of the site they have come to know over the years. I wanted to apologize for not being able to answer emails and wanted to thank Jeanie for trying to do so on my behalf. I am not one to run off in the middle of the night and leave my users in the dark so I wanted to explain the status of the site.
As many of you know CBF is a one man show in terms of it is operation. Also As many of you who are familiar with reward/survey sites are aware the survey networks pay out net 60 to its affiliates CBF being one of those.
That being said two huge developments have occurred in the last few weeks that have had an adverse effect on the site.
First I has suffered a mild heart attack brought on from exhaustion and under doctors orders has not been active on the site since June 18th. Physically and emotionally under doctors orders I must cut back my work load, this includes the operation of CBF.
Secondly CBF ran on credit, There is no way to run on a 20% profit margin and payout the users in a timely fashion without it, with the affiliate networks paying so slowly. This being said the credit line is up and must be repaid, CBF is heavily indebted and has sought bankruptcy protection.
All this being said I am sorry to say CBF is going into restructuring and will not be awarding any gift cards until that restructuring is completed. Once the survey networks have completed their payments to CBF, and the credit line is repaid, I will evaluate the site and the operation and decide where to go from there. In short without credit any survey site would be bankrupt.
During that time I will explore selling the site to a new owner who can take care of my users. I may be able to send out all cards or I may not be able to, and modify the site in such a way where it does not need to run on credit. I am unsure at this point only time will tell. First and foremost I must recover personally and close out the current business at hand. I am sure that process will take at least 2 months as I wait on the survey networks to complete their payments and recover physically.
On a personal note I want to thank all of my friends on this site over the past few years. It is almost like I have dozens of pen-pals. I will not be answering any emails over the next few weeks as I attempt to recover and rest, so please forgive me for my non-responses. I am not trying to be rude just simply trying to recover.0
