Hi
Looking for a new laptop, mines bit the dust
.
I am after any advice please. I have seen one in argos, but not sure if it will be any good?
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5089349.htm
All i use it for is the odd letter, now and then a simple spreadsheet (home finances), and the internet most of all etc.
Would spend up to £300 but would rather keep it to about £250.
Anyone recc how gb I would need? Thank You

That is a netbook. it may be slow running windows and other stuff like spreadsheets, and you will find it fantastic to do large spreadsheets on the 11 inch screen
It wont have a CD/DVD drive either.

Has anyone got one of these? Whats it like?
Thank You
No, you'll be the only person owning one.....
Seriously, why not try the thing out for yourself? They have a full warranty, including the usual 'no quibble' return within seven working days of delivery.
Also in Red if you prefer.
The specs indicate a good basic laptop. My mum has it's predecessor with a similar spec. She plays Flash games, watches films and YouTube, together with all of the usual Office usage.
Caveats: Colour(the black and the white ones have already sold out) and the fact that it is not clear as to whether you will receive Windows 7 or Windows 8(Not a problem IMO, as either is fine).0 -

I would have taken one in black for myself had I needed a laptop. No need to spend more for the 'average' user..
