No never tried those normally stock up on 3 or 4 of those 5kg packs of chicken breast when I go through about £22ish each.
I was just passing had a nosey and bought 5 of these bacon shanks figured I would be able to make something with them
Will enjoy picking some of and chomping tomorrow while the broth is on
i am sure you will :rotfl:
i refuse to buy chicken breast, far too expensive, i buy whole chickens (got to find the heaviest first though)
the first time i went there I bought african ribs on offer 99p. we asked what they were but no one actually knew. really nice done in slow cooker in homemade bbq sauce. £5.99 since then so i wont buy them, hubby wont eat them as he didnt know what they were, my mates hubby is convinced they are horse but if they are 99p again, i will get them :rotfl:
their different flavoured sausages are nice as well. god, i really need to organise a trip out there!!!!0 -
Ouch! I had to cut up little doggies worm tablet then roll each bit in butter to get her to swallow the bits.:o
I have to smash it all up then hide it in a dairylea triangle for Alfie;)His arthritis medicine is liquid so I syringe it on top of a dog biscuit, glad its not tablets because it'd cost me a fortune in Dairylea:eek:Bananababe wrote: »Just wanted to Thank Dodo for original post about Snap and Save back on the 8th of February. Messed up my shopping. I bought tomato ketchup and Tuna for Quidco cash back and 10 Mullers thinking they would compare to Morrisons and get a decent APG but I went and picked up Princes Tuna and not John West.
So small APG and no cash back for Tuna. I might give it another go and get the correct tuna next time.
Does anyone know if John West tuna should compare to £3.49 at Morrisons??
Yes, the John West Tuna Chunks 4pack (the ones on TCB) should compare to £3.49 for M. They are 4x160g. M has the "in Spring Water", the "in Sunflower Oil" and the "in Brine". (The TCB picture only shows the "in Brine" multipack, so it seems safer to get that one.)
This info. is from M's website tonight - unfortunately I failed again to take down the prices on the JW Tuna as, by themselves, given that SP Tuna is a matter of pence, it seems £3.49 is for some 'overpriced' tuna. Of course the cashback makes the difference. I did see the tuna was on offer in M last Wednesday (when price collection is done).
When I get organised on this, I will look out for 'cashback' items in M; at the moment, I'm being stopped by intermittent internet and phone access for at least the next week or so (no tips please, I'm already sorting this out).
While I am here, I can post my own M comp from tonight (a voucher for only £19.28 (!) - at least we now know some of the items that aren't coming back - and onto CS - I managed to find an old size (1.4L) version of the Flash - at least it's appeared on the comparison and picked up the £1.49 properly):
(No worries regarding the large voucher, as it's very legit.) Hope this helps someone, somewhere, and as I'm off again now:rotfl:- goodnight all and see you later.

Bold - not recognising half price at M (in my view).
Italics - multibuy at M being picked up on 3x 1% milk.
I think W/T Cooked Ham is incorrect - I meant to pick up the S/P version, so only lost 17p.0 -

Boots Glitch
Possibly a continuation of yesterday's Grabbit thread but
Add any amount of No7 Body Serums to your basket and they come up as FREE.
It seemed most if not all orders yesterday on the Grabbit thread were cancelled by B00ts unless anyone knows differently as the same thing was happening then, orders confirmed and then cancelled.
Some reported adding an extra item to the basket avoided the cancellation but if it did cancel you would then pay delivery AND the cheaper item which is not ideal!
Anyway don't shoot the messenger please - have a look and the original thread from yesterday is here
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4458413
I always forget something! I placed an order for store delivery with a cheapy item and it went through for £2.5* , I fully expect it to be cancelled though but you gotta be in it to win it!Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be
And get lots of glitches!0
