just been to check online and charges were refunded yesterday to just under £100 whoop whoop!! good news indeed. certainly wasnt expecting this

    Oh dear! this is what happens when they lose a few direct debits for a couple of days and then try to manage the publicity. I don't even bank with them but my Saving account received a boost (Natwest) and a letter from RBS say the same thing.

    How many people are receiving 'random' (no real losses) payments like this I wonder?

    Little debt, no missed payments, never over limit, never maxed, no defaults or CCJs etc. Not on ER at current address though I was at my previous address....
    got to go in and provide my ID, address already verified etc.

    These are nothing to do with the incident. Charge refunds relate to unpaid item fees historically charged.

  • no complaint. totally wasnt expected but on the main page of their site, they do state they are putting things right from when things went wrong. this incident didnt affect me at all at the time so nice bonus
