  • New to this - please can I make sure I've got it right?
I purchase items from a list that helpful posters such as Henlan put up, being careful not to mix and match from different sections/comparison shops. I check MSM to make sure there is a price difference. E.g. if I am buying 1x Ambrosia Rice Pudding (400g) and 4x Diet Coke Cherry (8x330ml) MSM will show a basket total of £15.88 for Asda, £8.64 for Sainsburys. So a fair size APG voucher. If I purchase these and run it through the APG website, I would get an even bigger voucher, because the cokes would be compared against the rice pudding by mistake?
Is this right? Help much appreciated :)

Kind of. I "think" you need even number, so either 2 rice puds and 4 cokes, or 1 rice pud and 5 cokes (but don't quote me on that!).

You also need to make sure your basket has at least 8 DIFFERENT items (eg all the cokes would count as 1 item unless they were different varieties), most of us go for around 10 items just in case, hence you see all the reference to the 10p flumps and smart price filler items.

yes my theory works but noone seems interested - mistakes are being made that dont need to be if you check END dates of offers.......and it seems it's OK for others to post lists but as soon as I mention posting my CORRECT and comprehensive list I get told its not a good idea:rotfl::rotfl:

I don't get what the problem is, maybe I missed something, but there's loads of lists all over here, so what's wrong with yours?
And I thought this was why certain things worked together?
    So I'm interested Calmspirit!

I must count mine at least 5 times lol

I am also trying to teach my daughter & her boyfriend how to do this when there is glitches on as they are moving in wth each other in April. So today was counting mine getting them to check what they had then i was checking their's for them... I was getting really confused so then ended up counting mine yet again lol

I know what you mean;)When I go with DH I have to count his trolley as well. When I went with Nannylala yesterday she had her stuff in my trolley and under her breath I could hear her counting 3,4,5,6 and it was putting me right of my own counting in my head!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ok so how many of us walk round A's and count our 10 items that we're going to put through at least twice?? I know I do and when I'm doing a few shops in one go have a basket in the trolley as a divider and pick up 2 flumps, 2 white mice,2 tins of spaghetti etc;):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:In fact its just a did giveaway to any mse'er:)

:rotfl:There's 3 different types of counting!
    1) counting to make sure you have enough glitchy items, 2, 5, 8
    2) counting total items 8 or more- (i do this every time i add anything to the trolley!:D)
    3) counting at the checkout to double make sure you have correct number of 1) and 2) and to see if SA is scanning everything properly!

Hi, do you mean the baby food?

EDIT just noticed it does say it in your original question:o

From what I have read its the 150ml apple juice, Think that someone bought apple and blackcurrant.

Someone did post earlier in the day, the glitch had not worked because the offer is finishing in T's so MSM had updated.
A's take their prices for comparison from there so it did not work.

I think that T's may be restarting the offer again.
You would need to wait until MSM updates before purchasing in A's

A big thanks Ladyshopper! So it's correct that MSM won't show the glitch, it happens in the APG software that generates the voucher, but not the MSM website?
