My Friday one that came back yesterday compared well.

I had a bad result a week ago but I went for fancy flavours - should have stuck to vanilla

I'm still trying to fathom this out. Surely the sp conditioner for instance sets the price for what we pay for the shampoo etc, it is the price at A doubled and then divided by 3 isn't it?

There are imperial leather shower gels at T 2 for 1, would love to get these working.

you're right in one way...its because the conditioner (and gel) are the same price in Ts...so 24p x 2 divide by 3 = 16p each... or 15p x 2 divide by 3 = 10p each.....but its only because Ts is the same price for the trigger item. If you bought the Alberto Balsam as the trigger item.. its 80p in A...but £1 in T...so it works out as £1 x 2 divide by 3 = 67p each :)

    hope that makes sense! :D

I bought the Imperial Leather combined with Loreal wipes to see if they'd glitch together (same start/end dates on offer)...but it didnt work...wipes came back as £2.99 and IL as £1...so even the 2for1 didnt kick in :rotfl::rotfl: Whats weird I suppose is that the IL is actually £1.89 in T...but worked as £1 on apg.....however, I tried it again a couple of days later, and bought 2 IL and 2 Loreal wipes....Loreal 2for1 offer kciked in...apg showed £2.99 for two...but IL compared at £1 each...so it actually pinched 11p from me :eek:

does any of this make any sense!!! If not, I'll try and find the reciept and post the results!!
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!

can i add my tuppence worth to the guilt trip debate about A's employees losing bonuses on this....

firstly, there are many staff that are participating in this glitch...and theres nothing to prevent them from doing so...they get staff discount too, so they're paying less in the first place to generate the apg....so its all good for them too :D

secondly, its unlikely that each individual employees bonus is dependant on the stores takings of apg vouchers, the apg is based on nationwide prices and can be used in ay other store, so doubt A's would use this as an overall margin for profit/loss per store. Just as an example of the opposite, DTD in Ts is different as 99% of this is due to instore employee error (ie not removing OOD SELs), so that could affect the individual stores bonus programme.

If an A's employee bonus is affected by the individual stores acceptance of apg vouchers, then I'm pretty sure that this would have been reiterated from the top, down to floor level, and every SA would be aware now and be questioning every high apg they could!

Unfortunately, most companies are hit by alsorts of problems, whether its non payers/debtors or systems issues which casuee a business loss. There may be a 3rd party to lay blame with and possibly recoup losses from...but if not then the company takes the hit, and continues to trade. The overall profit/loss then determines any level of payrise and/or bonus payable to all/any employees.

Bonuses and payrises are not a right, nor a god given guaranteed method of payment, and some of the staff at various supermarkets would do well to remember that. They're based on profits and service....and trouting and banning customers doesnt help wither of these things :D

Overall, for me, I dont feel guilty. I cant see A's penalising their staff for something which is beyond the SA's control. If they do, then unfortunately, like I said above, they are a business after all and a bonus isnt a right...so its just hard luck :(

i get 40 quid at christmas. And 15 quid payrise after 5 years. Feel guilty???:rotfl::rotfl:

Bad bosses always blame there staff.

Please can we stop talking sausages though. This is my weekend.

Altrincham, any tips on good A's to try and visit would be much appreciated. Thank you

Now will you people please stop posting?!!

I am shattered and have to go to bed. The computer is being switched of after I hit "submit"! ;)

    Goodnight!

    Good morning.

AAU - Are you driving? There is a BIG Asda 24 hours superstore (upstairs and down) right next to the Trafford Centre so it is usually pretty busy so they probably wont notice how many trips round you do) and more likely to stock what you need.

It is a bit further than going to Civic Centre, but it is about four times the size of the one at Wythenshawe, so well worth a trip.

The 8 different items are just fillers?

You must have at last 8 different items on your bill otherwise the Pricechecker won't work. They must be items which are 'allowed' - stuff from the kiosk for example, doesn't work. Normal groceries, veg et are ok and the cheap Smartprice stuff such as batter mix, custard powder are good cos they don't add much to your bill.

How many fillers you need is dependent on how many diferent glitching items you have - if you choose 8 different cereals then, in theory, you don't need any extra fillers as you already have 8 allowed items. Probably best to get a couple of extra cheapes though just in case you make a mistake.

Going to have a second attempt today after yesterdays failure.

Am going to get 5 hair products plus smartprice conditioner in first basket (and ketchup/deodorant).
    Yes

Second basket cereal and cleaning plus ambrosia.
    Yes

Can I add Iams, Squash and mr Kiplings in the second basket? (one of each?) Yes, but it will generate a large APG

And can 8 pack of coke go in either of these baskets? No, this compares agains Sainsbury and the trigger is the tin of Ambrosia rice pudding or custard.

So sorry to ask, but dont want to fluff up again lol x
Check that each item on your list compares on the Mysupermarket site.

I presume the stores are more than hitting weekly target even if it's with people who never normally set foot in there spending apg's with a couple of extra quid on top, I've spent too much money in there which I never normally would have done, but got so much to show for it it's silly to not keep spending to save. Still not taken my poo stash upstairs yet I can't face it!!

I'd love to know how much their sales figures for Flumps & Tangfastics have increased ;)
