#9156 and 9266 are still there, James would you mind deleting them please? The sooner the better, otherwise others will read back over the next 24 hours and just keep quoting them. Thanks.
    Hope is not a strategy.

Oh eck, can someone help me out please? Im just sorting the two APGs I did yesterday (one wine and one tommy K)
Now it looks like somehow I have printed the same APG twice, how can I tell which one Ive printed and which receipt it goes with, and can I get back intot he APG and print the other one, or have i really messed up?
the APG has a 'transaction number' on it, but I cant see that on either of my receipts, but then i am having a bit of a panic!!!
Edit, I alwats print as soon as ive compared, so no idea if you can go back again, or if it says 'sorry you have compared this one'
Transaction number should be on you receipt in the right top corner under TR and you can compare the time as well. You should be able to print it again, though.
...reality is a point of view...

The transaction number on the apg is the last four digits of the transaction number on the receipt, which is the last 'clutch of numbers on the top row that you put in. So you put in St 1234, OP 00001234, TE 12, Tr 01234. it's the Tr number that you're looking for.
No, Mr A, that is NOT 'Great news'!!:D

    Wombling totals: Oct = £243.32 - £93.32 over target!
Nov Wombling Tally: £27.36 so far... behind target :(

Can anyone help me with the Love Film promo? I have a gift subscription to activate before the end of the year - before activating it, can I have a free trial of 30 days and £15 amazon gift certificate?

Reading t&c it sounds like you don't get £15 gift cert if you cancel before 30 days are up??

I remembered I had a £20 ones lying around that I was hesitant to use. I just read that you have to be a "paying member" to receive the voucher.. cheeky!

It's surely wise to be mindful of the T&Cs for these schemes. If your receipt doesn't look like it would generate an APG of the value that it apparently shows, then your APG could come under considerable scrutiny and raise suspicion as to whether or not it's genuine. They do say:

    21. We've the right to withdraw the ASDA Price Guarantee at any time without notice.
    22. We reserve the right to withhold and/or refuse payment where we suspect that any false or fraudulent claim is being made.

It might be argued that the terms effectively allow the store discretion in whether or not to accept individual APGs.

I've kept my gob shut so far....but am going to add my opinion for what its worth....

I got trouted to an epic level ....didnt do anything wrong other than do a targetted shop resulting in £27 APG...I wont go into details but I was made to feel like a criminal.

The store manager has the right to refuse to accept any APG (they refused mine), and if it becomes apparent you are targetting the shop (be it once or a million times - mine was 2nd shop), they can and most likely will refuse. They can also ban you from the store without so much as a reason why.

No one wants APG or even the dreaded PP to end, or become more difficult to obtain, so my suggestion would be to keep ones actions to oneself ;)

After what happened to me, I am occasionally watched, and I choose to shop at alternative As to generate and use my APGs (which I dont do over £10 now). I wouldnt want to give them further reason to interrrogate me or worse, ban me.

Some might remember I got banned from a specific Ts store last year - for 'actively seeking DTD'.....despite not even paying for my goods let alone claiming DTD on them! This was purely down to claiming a DTD 2 weeks previous that the manager didnt want to give.

My point is, theres lots of staff who have the authority to make these decisions - whether they're right or wrong in our eyes - but inevitably they end up having the last laugh, be it refusing a PP/APG or giving a store ban.

As well as stash photos, I think the use of APG/PP details posted on here will also give the companies cause to consider their policies. Whilst its nice to share what compares etc, it might be an idea to just post the details in written form, rather than copying across the APG/PP image. The poster only needs to put that ketchup compared at £3 against 19p rather than showing they bought 10 bottles iyswim?

Going forward, I think it would be wiser not to share details of quantities bought. This wont stop some people over-doing it, but at least the thread wont be seen to be 'promoting' it.

I'm not whiter than white, and certainly stock up on specific items/glitches etc.....but I've learned on here its usually safer to keep schtum :D I dont like to spend hours catching up on arguments (it gets me excited when I see tons of pages - I think I've missed a glitch :rotfl::rotfl:).....so rather than people be vilified for ripping the a$$ out of whichever system, it would probably be easier if they just said 'glitch still working' or 'I got the ketchup' ..... that way we dont get through a thread quicker than a bottle of Tommy K, no one gets attacked......and hopefully it may minimise the extent to which people attack the system, thus allowing it to stay around for a long time :D

I dont want to get into any arguements with anyone, and I hope this post hasnt offended anyone :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
