Hi,
I have some SMS messages on my mobile that i would like to transfer to my computer in order to save. They are sentimental stuff, mainly congratulations messages on the birth of my child.
Is this possible???
Does it depend on the phone as to the method used?
Would a SIM reader do this???
I have limited techie knowledge, so any help would be very gratefully received!

Most phone manufacturers offer a software suite that can be installed to allow the phone to be backed up, messages saved etc. Check the website of your phone manufacturer.
Note - this assumes you have a means of connecting the phone to the computer; either a data cable or bluetooth.0 -

Of course it depends on the phone.
If it's an Android phone you could install "SMS Backup" which can save all text messages to a folder in your GMAIL account as a separate email for each message.
